A day that was supposed to be about individual glory wound up taking an added twist for the Red Sox. Not only was Dustin Pedroia the winner of the American League's Most Valuable Player Award, but Kevin Youkilis placed third. Not only were Pedroia and Youkilis thrilled for each other, the Red Sox were ecstatic for them.

Is Mark Teahen in the Chicago Cubs' sights? The Cubs are turning their attention to a left-handed bat, which could include Teahen or David DeJesus. Both Royals outfielders have reportedly raised the interest of the Cubs previously.
